The Cloisters Castle invites newly engaged couples and their families to a castle tour and meetings with local vendors during the Cloisters Castle Open House! Caterers, photographers, florists, and more will be available to help with all planning needs to create the perfect wedding at this historic landmark of Maryland. The Open House offers a tour of the rental facility’s stunning architecture while connecting guests to a full array of excellent wedding vendors.
The historic Cloisters Castle dates back to 1932, with many of the architectural elements being far older, lending the house an ancient feel. Castle features include a four-story spiral stair tower, chapel, cloistered garden, windmill, elaborate stained-glass windows and doors, multiple fireplaces, hand-painted murals, ornamental ironwork, and balconies. In addition to weddings, the medieval-inspired attraction and rental facility also host special events, art workshops, performances, and more.
